Distance Education in Vinayaka Missions University
had its inception in the year 1981 with the establishment of the
Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal (TKVTSS)
Medical Educational and Charitable Trust. Not far from then, in 1982,
the Founder-Chairman, Dr. A Shanmugasundaram instituted the Vinayaka
Mission‛s College of Pharmacy in Salem, the pioneer institution of
Vinayaka Missions. In the year 2001 the "University" status was
conferred on Vinayaka Missions by The Ministry of Human Resources
Development, Government of India, with the recommendations of the UGC
(Established Under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956) as an acknowledgement
of its excellence, satisfaction of the highest level of academic
standards and best infrastructural facilities provided to achieve
preeminence in education and by virtue of this recognition Vinayaka
Missions trascended to becoming Vinayaka Missions University (VMU) as
the 48th University in India.
About the Trust
Thirumuruga Kirupananda Variyar Thavathiru Sundara Swamigal Medical
Educational and Charitable Trust (Vinayaka Missions) was founded in the
year 1981 at Salem, Tamil Nadu, India. This is a Registered Trust,
totally self-supporting, with the dedicated philanthropist and
educationist Dr. A. Shanmugasundaram as the Founder Chairman.
The SRI RAMAN ACADEMY DISTANCE EDUCATION in visakhapatnam, srikakulam, hyderabad provides PG, Degree Distance Education services and was established in the year 1997 in Srikakulam under SRA with
aim of imparting higher knowledge in management and technology through distance education to the aspiring students that
they can emerge as competent managers, engineers and technologists of repute. Sri Raman Academy Distance Education
was started in
the year 1990 and providing Ph.D, PG(M.Tech, M.sc, MBA, MCA),
Degree(Bsc, Bzc), Diploma, Distance Education in visakhapatnam,
srikakulam, Hyderabad.
